SentryCam

Privacy

Your footage, your drive, your Mac.

SentryCam does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data to us or to any third party. We run no servers and have no accounts. The app runs entirely on your Mac and reads only the footage you point it at.

What we collect

Nothing. No analytics, no telemetry, no advertising, no account. We have no view of your footage or how you use the app.

Your video footage

SentryCam reads your Tesla dashcam, Recent, and Sentry clips directly from the drive or folder you choose, on your Mac. Playback, exporting, and deleting all happen locally. Your video is never uploaded, copied off your machine, or shared with Kojya or anyone else.

Files you export or delete

Videos you export are written to the location you pick on your own Mac. Clips you delete are moved to the Trash. SentryCam makes these changes only when you ask it to, and nothing about them is reported back to us.

Network requests

SentryCam has no backend and makes no network requests of its own. The only network activity is whatever macOS handles on our behalf, such as app delivery and updates through the Mac App Store.

Third parties

No SDKs, no analytics, no advertising, no data brokers, no crash reporters. SentryCam is an independent third-party app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Tesla, Inc.

Changes to this policy
